“Rest.”

But I didn’t earn it.

“Rest”

But I don’t deserve it.

“Rest”

But I didn’t work for it.

“Why can’t you receive it?”

“Don’t you know that I earned it for you?”

But I can’t simply do nothing.

“Don’t you know that I deserved it for you?”

“I saved you so you could be free.”

“I saved you for me.”

“I call you to live out of grace.”

“Not live in order to earn it.”

If this is true,

Then let my actions be a reflection of your love.

Let my life show gratefulness to you.

May I rest in your love,

And be faithful only to you.

For you are good,

And all I want is to be with you.

“Abide in me,”

“Rest in my embrace,”

“For my heart is for you.”

“You don’t have to flee,”

“For I call you into grace.”
